Hello everyone,

I'm gearing up for my FOURTH year in the Great Cycle Challenge this month of August 2026 to fight kids' cancer.

My goal this year is to pedal 300 kilometres and raise $500 for the SickKids Foundation. That's only $1.70/kilometre. Not bad, right!

Last August 31st, 2024, I had a cycling accident while riding with a friend and eventually had a compression fracture on my lower spine. Now that I'm healed, I'm ready to take this ride challenge again this year.

But come to think of those kids who are fighting cancer. This ride challenge is nothing compared to what these brave kids face. Currently, over 1,700 children in Canada are diagnosed with cancer annually, and 4 children lose their lives every week.

So, I will take this ride challenge to help fund the battle against cancer and to give these kids the bright future they deserve.
