My Story
This year's Great Cycle Challenge is to fight kids' cancer! Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
In two weeks starts my sixth year that I participate with the GCC and as always, I had so much fun that I decided to come back and participate again this year.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So, I am still raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

My Challenge

Last ride of the season to the bikeshop for seasonal tuning up and storage till next spring
3 Dec 2024Somehow circumstances (15 cm snow forecasted) made me decide today to go for a last ride this season. Short and sweet to the bikeshop for the seasonal tuning up as well as for storage. The first ride was in February and the last one today so climate change has also its positive sides. With almost 2900km of riding this year; it is still a very good average year considering that i did not always feel like it. Thanks again for all your support and have a great Holiday season

Dragonfly sitting on knee for a long time at Petrie Island Beach after a gorgeous ride
