My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Personally, I just lost my daughter who would have been 31..a budding doctor and researcher..to a rare form of sarcoma cancer...we need to up the ante...and support the researchers who are diligently finding ways to make this disease treatable.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. Quite frankly, I am so surprised with the wonderful support thus far!! I have reached my 4000 dollar goal and am very close to reaching my 500km riding goal I am going to keep riding and hopefully, folks will keep giving and we will see where we are on August 31st!!
