My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

My goal is to pedal 500 kilometers throughout the month.

Why am I doing this? Well, it's pretty simple and maybe a little selfish. As all of you know, my Mom passed away on April 1, 2026.. just few months ago. Although she lived a full 91 years, it was still a shock to our family. I've been looking for some way to mark her passing and nothing seemed right. Last year I did this challenge with the goal of raising a few dollars and getting some exercise at the same time. This year, to honor the memory of my mother Hadasa Anita Sky, I would like to raise a few more dollars and get a little more exercise. My Mom loved kids, especially babies. She loved the fat checks and the little feet of babies. Please consider making a donation to this wonderful charity in memory of my Mom. I not asking for a big donation, just 'chai' or 'double chai' is great! If you know... you know!
