Bogdan, our beautiful baby, today, as every day, we are wrapping you with love in our hearts, minds, and souls. As always, words fall short. But your memory is always bright and vibrant, always safe within us. Rest in peace our love ❤️🙏🕯️ Mom & Dad "If I be the first of us to die, Let grief not blacken long your sky. My Story

This year, our son Bogdan would have turned 30. Thirty years. It is a milestone that feels heavy with the weight of all the beautiful memories and what should have been - the dreams he would be chasing, the life he would be building, the laughter that should still be echoing in our space. While time moves forward, the love we hold for him remains timeless, anchored in our hearts that miss him every single day.

Grief is a quiet companion, but on birthdays, it speaks a little louder. It reminds us that while we cannot hold him, we can still honor him. We can take the love that has nowhere to go and turn it into a force for good.

In honor of his 30th birthday, my husband and I are once again taking on the SickKids Great Cycle Challenge. This August, we will pedal 500 km to fight childhood cancer.

We ride for the milestones our son didn't get to reach, and we ride so that other children do get to reach theirs. No parent should have to wrap their child only in their thoughts; they should be able to hold them in their arms.

Will you join us in this fight? A donation helps SickKids to continue to provide the innovative care and research needed to beat this disease and save little lives. No amount is too small when it comes to saving a child’s life.

And that’s a wrap on the Great Cycle Challenge 2026! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ We did it!

WOW, what a month! And no - the rain, the wildfire smoke, the humidity could not hold us back to reach our pledged goal.

So far, we've logged 1,983,662 km in the GCC community and raised $6,441,507 to give kids with cancer the brighter futures they deserve...

And it's all because of YOU and our fantastic GCC community across Canada. 🍁

Riding for such a powerful cause, backed by the unwavering support of our amazing family and friends, made every single kilometer so much more special. Together, we're showing these brave kids that they don't have to face cancer alone. ❤️
