This year I will NOT cycle but instead, I will WALK. Unfortunately, the first year I joined after 19kms I fell and fractured 2 vertebrates. It's been tough and I've come to terms that due to these fractures, I can no longer cycle. I have invited some cycling friends to join this cause alongside me. As mentioned I will WALK...please join me...you can aim for whichever goal you would like with lots of hope for the entire world. I want to do what I can and Walking is what I can do.

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

As we are the 31st of August, which ends the GCC for this year 2024.

Thank you to all my sponsors and for understanding I could not cycle due to injury. However I wanted to participate. Instead I WALKED. Yes small walks as I get stronger.

My determination is 100% as I wish that these biochemistry etc finds a cure for a devastating child or human.

With a warm heart ♥️ to all these kids who show US more compassion and empathy than many human beings.

Hope to be back again in 2025 ❤️❤️❤️

Will hopefully complete my 50kms to this great cause.

It's been a few difficult years. However, two I truly want to participate in this ride. As many of my friends and family know I fell cycling 2 years ago and broke two vertebrates. This has not healed well and cycling will be out. Instead, I will walk 50 km, on behalf of my cousin Fatinha in Portugal who is now in recovery from breast cancer. Thank you
