This year I will NOT cycle but instead, I will WALK. Unfortunately, the first year I joined after 19kms I fell and fractured 2 vertebrates. It's been tough and I've come to terms that due to these fractures, I can no longer cycle. I have invited some cycling friends to join this cause alongside me. As mentioned I will WALK...please join me...you can aim for whichever goal you would like with lots of hope for the entire world. I want to do what I can and Walking is what I can do.

This August, I will be participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to support the fight against childhood cancer.

Each year, over 1,400 children in Canada are diagnosed with cancer, making it the leading cause of disease-related death among children.

Children deserve to live their lives, not battle for them.

While I unfortunately cannot cycle this year due to broken vertebrae, I am still committed to raising funds to support the SickKids Foundation in its ongoing efforts to develop effective treatments and ultimately find a cure for childhood cancer.

I am walking in honor of my cousin, Amelinha, who is facing her own battle with cancer. I’d be grateful for your support through a donation to help provide these children with the brighter futures they deserve.
