Across the month of August, I am happy to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

I'll be riding 1,000km over the month of August, i.e., long rides on Saturdays and shorter rides during the week. This is the seventh year that I've been participating in this worthwhile endeavour.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support the SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer. The SickKids Hospital, a.k.a. The Hospital for Sick Children, located in Toronto, is one of the preeminent medical facilities for children in the world.
