This August, I'm planning to bike for a reason instead of just randomly like I normally do. My family knows the impact of cancer all too well, so this seemed like a good idea to do something I like doing while fighting against something I really really dislike.

Why now? Over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. I really don't know why I signed up for this, I just saw it and figured I would. It spoke to me on multiple levels.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
