My Story

Cancer, in general, is a term that our family has become all too familiar with, especially over the past few years. I am beyond thankful for both the care that our friends and family members have received during their battles with cancer, as well as the advancements made in medicine that have allowed their treatments to be as promising as they are. With that being said, there is still a long way to go before a disease of this magnitude can be generally regarded as curable.

I have decided to take part in the GCC because this year, my reason for supporting causes like these has grown. In addition to using this fundraiser to celebrate the friends and family members I know that have beaten their diagnoses, and standing by the ones that are currently battling, I will be cycling to honour the memory of one of the strongest people I have ever known.

It would mean the world to me If you were able to support this cause in any way possible, either by donating to the fundraiser, or spreading the word. All donations are tax-deductible, and any amount you are able to donate would be deeply appreciated.
