Adam Tondevold
Adam Tondevold 2026 trail ride to defeat cancer.
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

Trail ride into the moonrise
28 Aug 2026The sun was hot and bright as I pushed on towards the lake. Sweat poured from my heated skin as the sun shone down upon me. My tense leg muscles pumped up and down with the motion of the pedals. My rotating tires gripped the hot asphalt and propelled my cycle and myself forward. As the day wore on and the distance I travelled grew, the sky darkened and the sun began to set. As I headed home the moon rose and a dark shadow cast it's geometric shape across the left lower half of the moon. With a final energetic push I reached my destination and pondered the events of the day.

Flowing water, hot sun and cool breeze trail ride.
26 Aug 2026The water flowed as the hot sun emitted it's rays unto the earth. Water flowed from my pores as it tried to cool off my body. Shadows appeared as material objects blocked the sun's rays. Shade from the many trees, etc. offered some relief from the blazing, hot sun. My water bottle appeared in my hand, as I gulped a mouthful of precious water. Water from fountains and the lake flowed freely as I cycled onward. A cool breeze flowed over my sweating face as I journeyed towards my final destination. The setting sun signaled that it was time to bring this trail ride to an end and I pedaled to my final resting post, in anticipation of a future cycling adventure.
