Rob Lutes

My good friend Rob courageously battled cancer for many years. Through it all, he remained one of the most determined and active people I know. Even in the face of this relentless disease, Rob continued to work hard, live fully, and inspire everyone around him, until he tragically lost his fight this year. Cancer did its best to slow him down, but Rob fought bravely to his final days. His resilience, spirit, and unwavering positivity are a testament to the strength of the human will. Rob showed us every day what it means to fight with grace, to push forward with purpose, and to live life without surrender. I will miss you, Rob, but your inspiration will live on with me and anyone who knew you. This August, I am riding for Rob, not just to honour his journey, but to support him and others like him in this ongoing fight

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
