My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

My Challenge

  • Harte Trail

    Travelled through Fort Whyte and Assiniboine Forest to make my way down the Harte Trail. Joined some of the Cycling with Sarah ladies on the way back towards Assiniboine Park where we parted ways. I carried on down Wellington Crescent and then returned home through the parks again. Glad I achieved my 200km challenge

Started from home and traveled to Windsor Park where I got to say a quick hello to Joel who was out running,then to the Forks past the Legislative grounds past the Fancy Dress participants to Misercordia Hospital. I then went to Assiniboine Park and traveled home thru the forest and Fort Whyte
