I'm Riding For

Sammy

This year I am riding in honour of my little neighbour Sam. He was diagnosed in May last year with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He is just 3! Already he has endured surgeries, blood transfusion, platelet transfusion, and has endured many rounds of chemo. He loves his mom and dad, his big brother Al, his dog Ripley and all things Buzz Lightyear and dinosaurs. Sammy and All the little ones fighting for their lives deserve the chance at a life of just being a kid. Riding bikes, getting ice cream, swimming, building sandcastles. Not fighting cancer, dealing with surgeries and chemo. I ride in honour and memory of every single child who has bravely fought cancer or is fighting for their lives now. Please support me in this ride. 300km seems so insignificant compared to the battle these children face. $1000.00 is my goal this year! Every little bit helps.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
