It was nine years ago that we had an initial diagnosis of a Tumor. That was the year that I started cycling for this cause. Since then she has had no further developments but I have continued to cycle for this cause as I'd prefer to be working towards an answer rather than wait until the next time it rears its head as a possibility. Over the years I have lost friends to Cancer and last year year another Lake Louise Alumni also lost their fight with this disease. It reminds me it can happen to any of us and I'll keep doing my part to fund-raise. If you are able to help support this cause, either as a precautionary measure, to help someone dear to you or just for the tax rebate for a charitable donation, I appreciate any support you are willing to offer.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
