My Story

It's been a slow start of riding in August due to a few factors, but hopefully with the pace of life returning to normal and with clearer skies I can get out more and log more kms for this charity.

It is tough enough seeing friends and my two uncles who have passed away due to cancer, so as a parent I couldn't imagine seeing my boys go through something like it. Hopefully whatever is raised helps find a cure, or at the very least assists in finding improvements to combat it. Then many of these young innocent children can have a life they deserve to have.

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
