My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

“In memory of Spencer the dragon slayer...one of too many that slipped away One of many of my sons good friends during his own treatment for acute lymphoma leukemia. My son was given a 50% chance of survival and started 3 years of chemotherapy.. Happy to say that today the survival rate is over 80% now... It's our money that helps make the difference as new protocols have much better chance.. My son was 2 when he was diagnosed with cancer, this year my son turns 27 and in full remission. That 50 50 chance was the scariest fucking thing you can imagine, big tough guy I cried every day for 10 years and now 25 years ago I still shed a tear remembering the ones that fought hard and lost. Peace little ones.”
