My Story

I feel so incredibly privileged to be able to participate in this very worthy cause.

Throughout the month of August, I’ll be cycling 318 km in support of SickKids Hospital and, most importantly, the incredible children and families fighting stupid, &^%$ cancer.

Every kilometre is for the kids. 💙🚴‍♀️

This is my 6th year participating in this amazing initiative, and I can honestly say that I will never not participate in this challenge. It has become something very close to my heart.

Our family has personally experienced the life-changing impact of SickKids. Hunter has endured multiple life-changing surgeries with the incredible, world-class medical team at this hospital. I remain humbled and deeply grateful for the care, expertise, compassion and dedication he has received throughout his journey.

Knowing firsthand the difference SickKids makes for children and their families makes every kilometre I ride even more meaningful.

So, I’ll keep riding. I’ll keep fundraising. And I’ll keep showing up for these incredible little fighters who are battling this absolutely ghastly disease. 💙

I’m excited to see what we can raise together this year in support of SickKids and the children who need them most.
