Hi folks!

The Great Cycle Challenge Canada is a Sick Kids Foundation event through which all funds raised go to supporting treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

I started participating in this event back in August 2021 as a way to do something positive and healthy during the pandemic. What I wrote back then still holds true:

Being able to ride and raise funds is a privilege. I'm grateful to be able to ride when and (mostly) where I want. Not everyone has a bike (or equivalent) to ride, a body, mind or spirit that is able to move, the time to ride in a safe neighbourhood with space and clean air, or spare dollars to donate.

Most of us have experienced the shock of a loved one’s illness. We’ve also seen the life-changing impact that modern cancer treatments can have—bringing dignity, hope, and more precious days together.

Whether or not you're able to make a donation, please take this as a small plug to do something positive today that brings health to yourself, another being, or the planet. If you do choose to donate, please know that every bit of support is deeply appreciated. Since starting this journey in 2021, we've raised almost $2,000 together—and multiplying that by the thousands of other participants shows the incredible impact this event truly has.
