Hi,

My name is Carlos, a full-time migrant.

I want to share with you that in August I am taking part in the #greatcyclingchallenge in memory of newcomers, refugees and undocumented children with cancer!

While I don't have kids, I have known parents of kids sick with cancer and I have seen how lonely and stressful their battle is and how much a little gesture can do to help them know that they are not alone.

My goal is to cycle at least 500 km and fundraise more than 500 CAD before the end of August.

It won't be easy, but it's my little way of giving back to my community and helping the approximately 1,400 children who are diagnosed with cancer each year, and of course, help their parents.

So I'm riding to raise funds to support these brave children and their families in their fight against this terrible disease.
