I have participated in this fundraiser every year, with only a couple of exceptions. I started long before we lost Eli, long before we could have imagined this would be part of our story.

Now, I ride in his name.

I hate that this is our reality, but I am deeply grateful for the people working to save lives and create change through the funds raised. Knowing that Eli’s name is part of that work means everything.

He had the kindest heart I’ve ever known, and he is so deeply missed.

MY FIRST YEAR RIDING WHY WAS:

Why?over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

So I am raising funds to help these kids & support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue to work to develop treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
