I'm Riding For

Sydney Wahlenmaier

It is my honour to be riding for Sydney this year. Sydney Wahlenmaier died March 18, 2016, of Burkitt’s lymphoma, a rare form of fast-growing cancer that attacked her small intestine and ovaries, she was 13 years old. A beautiful young lady that was always true to herself, her motto was 'Be you’. Even after receiving her diagnosis in November 2015 Sydney was still Sydney, she wouldn’t let cancer change her. Forever in our hearts ❤ this ride is for you.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
