My Story

August 1

Today was my first day on the ride. I did a 19 km ride in the morning and when as weather permitted, I did a number of further rides for a day total of just short of 40 km.

Throughout August, I’ll be riding 500 km to support children battling cancer.

Every kilometre is dedicated to these children and their families.

August 2

Today, rain is expected all day. Hopefully there will a break and time for an outdoor ride. But after my morning coffee, I will go to the gym and do some km's cycling. Will update later.

Was able to sneak in 16 km in between rain. Maybe I should call it quits for today. Weather permitting, Collingwood to Thornbury tomorrow.
