Christopher Sisca
Christopher is a tough little fighter at just 2 years old. Earlier this year, Christopher was diagnosed with Wills Tumor, a form of Kidney Cancer. Unfortunately, it spread into his lungs where he is at stage 4. He had surgery to remove the tumor, which was successful and all the margins were cleared. However, out of 3 cancer cells, only 2 took very well from the chemo. Therefore, he has to have a stronger treatment to cure and protect him from any future relapse. It has been an uphill battle not only for this little dude, but his mom and dad too, and still has a ways to go. This summer, I am riding for Christopher!
My Story
This August, I am once again happily taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
