Ride Number Six – The Finish Line, But Not the End 🚴‍♂️❤️

Ride number six is in the books—and what a way to finish my Great Canadian Cycle Challenge!

Today’s ride brought my challenge to 404.5 km, passing the original 400 km goal I set for myself. Six rides, hundreds of kilometres, plenty of tired legs, and a whole lot of incredible moments along the way. (Great Cycle Challenge Canada)

But when I look back at these rides, the distance is only part of what made this challenge so special. I’ve enjoyed the roads, the trails, the views, the weather, and especially the people I’ve been able to share some of these rides with. More importantly, every kilometre was for something much bigger than me.

Being part of the Great Canadian Cycle Challenge has been an incredible experience. Knowing that every pedal stroke helped raise awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer gave every ride a purpose. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, encouraged me, followed along, or simply asked how the rides were going.

I’m proud to say that I reached my 400 km riding goal, and I’ve also been fortunate enough to reach my fundraising goal. But reaching those goals doesn’t mean I’m putting the bike away.

    I’ll keep riding. 🚴‍♂️

The challenge may be finished for me, but the reason behind it continues. I’ll keep getting out on the bike, enjoying the roads and trails, and remembering why I started this journey in the first place.

And there is still time to make a difference. My donation page will remain open until the end of August, so if you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, even a small contribution can help support the fight against kids’ cancer.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these six rides so meaningful. I’m proud to have been part of something that is helping give kids fighting cancer a brighter future.

    404.5 km complete.

    Challenge goal achieved.

    But the riding continues. ❤️🎗️
