On this pedalling journey I’ve come to realize that one must be flexible and adjust to the things we cannot control.
I can’t control that I re-injured my left leg or that some days I feel sick or down.
Obviously, I’m not able to get on the bike right now.
However, I can control how I choose to think and how to try to keep positive.

As I mentioned in my last blog, Ken and Summer are now riding entirely on my behalf for Team Magic City Chorus!
I could not be more grateful for this amazing husband and daughter of mine!
Summer had not been on a bike ride with her Dad and me since she was 15 years old and now she’s riding on behalf!!!!
My heart swells at the thought of my family’s love, commitment, and dedication to Magic City Choruses goal to raise $5000 for kids with cancer.

Unfortunately, I hurt my already slightly injured left knee while biking on an electric bike in beautiful Waskesiu.
I was on a nice family vacation.
I was devastated both physically and emotionally. 😢
However, the beautiful part of this blog is that my right and left wing people, Ken and Summer, seeing me crying indicated not to worry, they will take over all the ridership duties until I can bike again.
It was what I’ve always taught my 23 year old daughter since the day she was born: “family backs up family”.
Seeing my teaching in action warmed my heart and soul; and most of all I felt a deep sense of gratitude, respect, understanding, and peace.
