Cancer touches all of us. Whether we like it or not, we all know someone who’s been touched by cancer. Close or far, we know them.
For me, it’s close. Many of my closest family members have been touched by cancer. Fortunately many of them have won their battles.
This past fall, my grandma lost hers. I’m so grateful to have grown up with her as my neighbour and to have gotten to spend so much time with her. She taught me a lot about resiliency and determination. She was my biggest supporter of everything I did.
This years ride is in her honour. For all the determination and hard work she put into evening she did, I want to do the same.
