In the beginning

Seeing an advertisement to ride to help children with cancer was intriguing, albeit disheartening as well.

Being off work for almost five years, I was looking for something to help people as well as myself.

I suppose that seems selfish. I have to say, that when I talk to people about the ride, I am overwhelmed by the response of how many people have a child, a niece or nephew, and grandchild who has or had cancer. Hearing each persons experience motivates me to push on. Do better.
