Last Ride

My lungs, bum, and knees are glad that this is the last ride. Though I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge.

Lungs a little better today

Got some miles in today coming down to the finish line. Will I be able to get all my miles in? I’m not too sure but I’ve got a couple days in sure gonna give it a good try. It’s rained the last few days so the smoke has cleared from the air making it a much more enjoyable ride.

Short Ride

Today's ride was a short one and, honestly, a bit of a struggle. I wasn't really sure why at first, but | think the smoky air is making it a little harder on the lungs. Still, I just love getting out there.

There's something about being on my bike, listening to my music, and taking in all the little things around the neighbourhood.

People out walking their dogs, the neighbourhood cats doing their own thing, the crows and little birds busy about their day, and the squirrels gathering pinecones tor winter. "

Even when the ride is short and doesn't go quite the way I hoped, I'm grateful I got out.

Sometimes it's not about the distance. It's about noticing the world around you and enjoying the ride. do

I left 8:45 AM. I thought the roads would be busy but actually it wasn’t too bad. It was a nice ride. Had a nice short visit with Lisa 🪴. Before it got too hot. Ivy had a break but was anxious to get back on the road again.
