Today with 36km to go I headed out and unexpectedly got caught in the rain for 30 min. Overall a great last ride to end up with my 400 km goal completed for another year.
The Children Kicking Cancers Butt say thank you and so do I to the Sponsors who made all this happen.
Stayed tuned for the grand total of Donations across the Country for this great cause.
36km left after this evenings 25km ride. What a journey it has been. This August was a little tougher than usual juggling a few more life changing events.
I feel so fortunate to be contributing in a small way to such a great cause. The Sponsors are the Stars here so a big THANK YOU AGAIN 😇🚴♀️❤️🫶
Beautiful sunny weather allowed me to bring my goal kilometres up to 339 with a 50km ride this day. I will miss these trails which are pleasant and plentiful and mostly all part of the province wide CONFEDERATION TRAIL. My goodbye to the Island ended in attending some of the Old Home Week Festivities.
Thinking of Kids Kicking Cancers Butt and I consider myself fortunate to be part of all gathering support for research at Sick Kids Hospital. Thank you to the wonderful sponsors. You are the Stars⭐️
What a glorious trail ride along St.Peters Bay into Morell. Lovely breeze and cut my ride to 30km to meet a friend for a late lunch at the local Seafood Shack. Forced to eat another lobster roll. No more until NEXT YEAR.
A sun filled 40km ride today from Cavendish National Park to North Rustico and back.
The ride was hilly but so beautiful with its spectacular coastal views.
To load up with some energy I enjoyed a “mooey gooey” Cows ice cream from the Cavendish boardwalk just before the ride.
I hope you all come visit “your Island “ sometime soon.
