Windy ride today, had to use both hands and plenty of balance !! The lake has whitecaps and all the tents are blowing away, not a very nice day to enjoy Sylvan Lake lol

Yesterday it was too hot to ride so I sure made up for it today; the weather was perfect for biking !! Sylvan Lake is one of my favourite spots for the GCC 2026; the photo is of my son going for an evening dip in the Lake ๐๐
I almost had to add my own name to the list this year, false alarm thankfully!! Some garbage showed up on the Mamo which required more research, most likely a cyst or something. I am so grateful for the team who is caring for me THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH โค๏ธ I will be riding my bike out there, love you all, slow down, donโt want to break the other leg!!!
Been super busy with the new job, picked up my brand new Raleigh and am impressed with true quality once again! It is heavier than the last one, a very strong bike and should last 2 years or more. This is going to be my 6 th Anniversary with GCC, so letโs get pumped up, healthy, and focused on the goals ๐
New bike is on order right now, I broke my leg last October and feel strong enough to go for it again !!! Chin up everyone, letโs get this year done up the right way ๐ This is my 6th year of cycling around Alberta for Sickkids Foundation, Cancer has no age limits !!!
