Decided to have one last ride with Felix this morning, to finish off the GCC for the year! He managed 10km today, and did a great job! I am sure we'll put on lots of miles next year.
Well I hit my 200km goal, and Felix joined me for the last few miles to hit his goal too! I can't post the screen shots from both rides, but he joined me for 2.27 miles on my second ride.
We might try and sneak in one more ride Saturday, but I'm glad we hit our goals this year, and could do our part.
Well I got in a long ride today, and a short one with a partner. My oldest boy decided to take a short ride with me this afternoon, and we are going to start a GCC page for him, to count it as his first year. He got almost 4km on his first ride!
Put on another 28+ tonight… couple more rides and I should have my goal!
Forgot my short ride the other night, while I was preparing for one tonight! The days are limited, but I'm going to do my best!
Got in a short ride tonight, and a flat tire! Rain in the forecast should give me time to get that fixed. Less than 100km to go!
Well, I logged almost 37 km today for the GCC, just a few kms short of my halfway mark. I also hit a few personal milestones since I started biking in 2020. Today, I had my longest bike ride in both duration and distance, and I also completed my longest segment without stopping. Not too shabby for an old, fat guy! Haha.
On to the next 100 km, and maybe more?? We’ll see!
Officially logged over 500km for the GCC today, with my 31km ride!
Starting my 200kms late, but it just means I have more work to do! Let's see if I can hit the 200km without injuring myself this year.
