No riding this past weekend as I was in Bluewater County (Lake Huron), no bikes available and a great deal of rain, you can’t control the weather. We visited the cutest little town - Bayfield (pic). Anyway, I got back to riding yesterday and had my first fall. Actually it was more like a tip over. No scrapes or bruises & I did another 6 km after it happened. My muscles are a little tight today though, so I took it easy.
Well Folks, its been a while. Between rain, work, procrastination and vacation I haven’t gotten a lot of riding in. I shall aim to do better. I did have a really great 4 days away with friends in Sandy Lake. Pretty spectacular sunrise & sunset I will share a sunrise pic. No bikes available to ride, no room to pack. I did manage to swim & kayak though. I am hopeful the next few days will be sunny and warm and I can hit over 100, keep your fingers crossed.
I just raised $2,000 to fight kids' cancer and achieved LEGEND LEVEL in the challenge! Thank you so much for your support.
Yesterday was unbelievable watching my donation page light up in support of funding cancer research to KICK CANCERS BUTT!!
In one day TOGETHER we managed to raise just under $2000.00!!! and over 7 years we have raised over $10,000.00. I just gotta say WOW!! That is a great accomplishment.
In addition, for our efforts I will receive 2 new biking Jerseys one for hitting $500.00 donation & the other for hitting a milestone - raising $10,000.00 for the cause.
I know we will exceed the 2000.00 and I will make my goals. How can I fail with the support in my corner!
Big Hugs to you all!!! Have a wonderful day!!
