I'm Riding For

Hudson

I am riding for my great-nephew. Hudson was diagnosed with B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia on Mar 3,2023. This little man is 3 years old. He has a five year old brother, a 14 year old sister and a 16 year old brother. Hudson lives in Fort St. John, he and his mommy have been in Vancouver since March 2. The family was welcomed into the Ronald McDonald House on Mar.13. Hudson has under gone chemotherapy and has been told his cancer is in remission but must continue the treatment plan. Needless to say it has been a trying 5 months. The family has been together during spring break and for awhile this summer. Daddy has returned home to go back to work. It looks like Hudson and his mommy may be there until December.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

My ride seems like a such a small thing compared to what these kids go thru on a daily basis.

Mommy cut my hair

Kept his hair for a few months. Finished another round of treatment. Doing ok.Daddy’s back to pick up boys to take back to FSJ for start of school. Sister already went back for dance camp.
