Today, I kicked off my ride in Banff, AB and rode up to Lake Minnewanka, a glacial lake, in the gruelling heat but it was well worth a little pain since we were rewarded with a beautiful view (despite the smoke from the BC and SK forest fires), we dipped our feet into the icy cold but refreshing water AND we got to go downhill back to town! Wheeeeeee!
During my rides, I think of all of you who’ve had loved ones, young and old, go through the trying, lengthy and painful treatments of cancer. I’m riding for all of us and hoping to make a difference to conquer this horrible disease.
Thank you all once again from the bottom of my heart for your generous support! Together, let’s KICK CANCER’S BUTT!
This year will be my 4th year doing this challenge. Having so many close family members and friends who’ve fought this horrible disease gives me the inspiration to take on this challenge once again. NOBODY should have to go through this. Any donation towards Sick Kids is very much appreciated. Thank you!
