Two of my friends from my cancer journey who sadly passed away. But I’m doing what ever I can to support them and everyone who has gone through the same.

My Story

When I was three-years-old, I was airlifted to SickKids where I was diagnosed with cancer. I finished my chemotherapy treatment 2 1/2 years later, when I was 6. Then my cancer came back when I was 7, I had a lot of chemo and radiation so I could have a bone marrow transplant. I had my transplant right before Christmas in 2016, I was really sick and I couldn’t leave my hospital room for more than a month. Unfortunately, my transplant didn’t work and my cancer came back when I was 9. I had an experimental CAR-T treatment, but it didn’t work either. My cancer came back when I was 10 so I had a new chemo and another transplant. I spent my 11th birthday in isolation. At first my transplant went well, but after 3 months I got severe GVHD, my new immune system took away my vision, but I got most of my vision back. I wasn’t even off treatment yet when I found out I had cancer again, but I finished treatment. I was recently diagnosed with cancer for a sixth time, and I am working hard to beat my cancer.
