My Story

24 Apr 2018

On June 2nd, I will be competing in the Trans America Bike Race (TABR), a self-supported ultra-endurance cycling race across the US - all to kick cancers butt. At 6,800 km, TABR is the longest self-supported cycling event in the world, twice the distance of the Tour de France and the equivalent of scaling Mount Everest 6 times.

At the same time I will be taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! My target is to raise $6800, $1 for each km I intend to ride in June in the TABR.

Why? Because over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

On June 2nd, I will be competing against 124 other racers from 22 countries in the Trans America Bike Race (TABR), a self-supported ultra-endurance transcontinental cycling race across America.

The TABR is considered one of the most demanding endurance cycling events in the world. At almost 7,000 km, it is twice the distance of the Tour de France and with 168,000 feet of elevation gain is the vertical equivalent of scaling Mount Everest 6 times.

To make this challenge even more meaningful, at the same time I will be taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! My target is to raise $6800, $1 for each km I intend to ride in June in the TABR.

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

    Thank you.
