I have participated in the great cycle challenge since my sister was an ambassador for GCC in 2018 while she battled her cancer for a third time, she is now 15 and is battling cancer a seventh time.

She was diagnosed with high risk acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in her B-cells at the age of 3. She relapsed when she was 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13. She was diagnosed with cancer for a seventh time in late January 2024, after finding a mass on her spine.

She has had many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, a bone marrow transplant, a stem cell transplant, 2 CAR-T treatments, and a few different immunotherapy treatments. Her current treatment involves a combination of intrathecal and oral chemotherapy, which will continue for as long as possible, or until another trial is available.

This summer I hope to be able to ride as much as possible to help other kids like my sister.
