I'm Riding For

Last year I rode for my little buddy Connor who lost his fight. This year I am riding for all friends and family who have been touched by this awful disease. The end of last year I lost 2 fantastic men in my life and 2 great friends were diagnosed with cancer.. It's time to put a stop to this disease and save lives.. ❤THIS IS FOR YOU❤

My Story

This June, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.

I feel so blessed with all the support I have have been receiving. Just in 15hrs I have received $110.00 helping me get over my half way mark.

I put a little challenge out to friends and family that any donation today I would add an extra 5km. So far it looks like I have 30km extra to ride. A little birdy tells me this might be going up. Would it not be fantastic to make it 50km extra?

    Thank you everyone

  • Why
    10 Feb 2019

A few people have asked me why I started this ride. Let me take you back to when I was a child and one of my best friends were diagnosed with leukemia when he was 1 years old. It was a hard battle. Watching him in school, in so much pain, losing his hair, being sick, and at a young age. Made me want to help. Some days I remember laying in bed praying God would take his pain, or yelling at God because it was not fair. After 9 years of fighting my best friend lost the fight and he left a hole in my heart.

Years have pasted and cancer has yet to be stopped. More loved ones have died, more friends and family diagnosed with cancer. I'm not a doctor or a scientist, I cant come up with a cure. However I can do my part! I can raise money, ride my bike, and let people know I'm here for them.

I have faith and believe that cancer will one day be gone.

So my ride is ❤FOR YOU❤ the ones fighting, the ones I've lost, and for the families.
