This June, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Another year.... here I go! 🙋🏼♀️5 Apr 2019
It’s only April 💐but I’m already “gearing up” for my triathlon season 😅 and the “Great Cycle Challenge” (Against Cancer) 👍
I’ve been cycling all winter at The Wheelhouse in Westboro 🚴🏼♀️🚴🏽♂️🚴🏻♀️🚴🏻♂️
and on my home trainer, occasionally 😜
Last month I got a great deal on a new 2018 Cervelo P2 bike, but decided to return it before my “bike-fit” appointment 😢, due to a heftier-than-expected income tax bill 😱
Instead I’m going to upgrade my current bike (2009 Opus) by adding TRI-bars and upgrading my wheels and tyres. 🚴🏼♀️ I love my “Purple Passion Propeller” 💗
I also found a great deal on an aero helmet at the bike show in Gatineau in March and can’t wait to TRI it out 👍. It has a built-in sun shade and streamlined shape (but not really pointy at the back like time trial helmets 😅)
The TRI/DU clinic I’m leading with the Running Room will be starting next week, so my quantity and quality of cycling will increase well before this June challenge of 100km/30 days 👏🏻
Just TRI ‘n’ DU It! 🏊🏻♀️🚴🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️🧘🏼♀️
